"Krasny Kotelshchik" has manufactured boiler equipment for Izhevskaya CHPP-2
The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works "Krasny Kotelshchik" (TKZ) has completed the manufacture of a steam boiler for Izhevskaya CHPP-2 (part of PJSC T Plus). The work has been performed within the state program for rehabilitation of thermal power plants under "DPM-shtrikh" contracts for power provision.
The scope of PJSC "Krasny Kotelshchik" obligations includes both the supply of a boiler unit with a steam capacity of 540 TPH of its own production, and auxiliary boiler equipment supplied by TKZ partner enterprises. These products are intended for the largest generating facility of Udmurtia energy system – Izhevskaya CHPP-2.
It is worth reminding that at the moment the plant is undergoing modernization, which involves the replacement of existing equipment, including Boiler Unit No.4, with more modern, compact, effective and environmentally friendly. As a result of the work performed, the efficiency of this facility will increase, which will positively affect the reliability of heat and power supply to the residents of Izhevsk and the region as a whole. In particular, the plant capacity will increase by 30 MW – today its rated output power is 390 MW.
The TKZ boiler unit will be installed within the existing CHPP infrastructure in the existing boiler cell instead of the lower capacity boiler that has reached the end of its service life. The efficiency of the new boiler unit will be 96%. High environmental requirements will also be met with minimum quantity of draft equipment. Special attention will be paid to informing the plant personnel about critical deviations in the boiler operation. To do this, a system for predictive control of heating surfaces physical state – a new development of TKZ, will be installed.
