New inspection equipment has been supplied to PJSC “Krasny Kotelshchik”

The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” (TKZ) has procured equipment for radiographic testing. The new radiological devices will replace the outdated analogues.

Two portable radiological devices have been produced by a Russian company. The new equipment is designed for non-destructive examination of weld joints by radiographic method.

At PJSC “Krasny Kotelshchik”, these devices will be used to transilluminate weld joints of boiler heating surfaces. Such examination is carried out in open-type X-ray chambers and in open areas of a large production unit – Tube Panel Shop.

Up-to-date devices have replaced obsolete radiographic machines that have run out their service life. Constant updating of the fleet of inspection equipment makes it possible to ensure high quality of control operations when manufacturing TKZ products within the framework of current projects.
