The government of the Rostov region and PJSC “Krasny Kotelshchik” signed a strategically important document to resolve the staff shortage
Today, April 4, the Government of the Rostov Region and the Taganrog Boiler-Making Works PJSC "Krasny Kotelshchik" (TKZ) signed a roadmap timeline for the short-term closure of the enterprise issue of recruitment needs in 2025. The document was signed by the First Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region, Igor Guskov and the Chief Executive Officer of the Works, Mikhail Klugman.
The document covers key areas of joint efforts aimed at eliminating the staff shortage particularly in such industrial worker jobs as milling-machine operator, CNC operator, lathe operator, crane operator and welder.
The key activities envisaged as a part of the roadmap include determination of the specific stuffing requirements of the Works, systematic work with specialized educational institutions of the Region, implementation of career guidance and targeted training activities, popularization of blue-collar professions among the young and the provision of high quality training for specialists.
“The involvement of regional authorities in the processes of career guidance, targeted training and subsequent employment of young specialists is the capstone for the sustainable development of not only the individual enterprise, but also the entire economy of the Region. I’m sure that, in cooperation with the Government of the Region and educational organizations, we will be able to eliminate “bottlenecks” in the HR issue in the shortest time possible and to ensure the long-term stability of one of the largest industrial enterprises in the Don Region,” Mikhail Klugman, Chief Executive Officer of PJSC “Krasny Kotelshchik”, commented on the signing.
The partners of the project in the field of vocational education will be made up by the Taganrog College of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy and the Taganrog Mechanical College, as well as the Rostov College of Mechanical Engineering Technologies. The laboratory will include 20 fully equipped welding stations and a modernized workshop, with the conditions most closely resembling those at TKZ. In the near future, the enterprise is planning to join the federal program “Professionalitet,” which will further strengthen the regional personnel training system.
